Meet Don | Independent Contractor Specialist and Appliance Repair Specialist for Simply Amazing Marketplace

Say hello to Don, one of our long-time independent contractor specialist and appliances repair technician here at Simply Amazing Marketplace.

Don grew up in Dana Point, later moving to Huntington Beach, where he spent his days surfing, playing high school football and baseball, and eventually joining the Air Force. He got married in 1974 and later began working at Mitsubishi in 1988 as the head of facility maintenance. He also played on their softball team, where he earned MVP titles during the regular season and playoffs.

In 1993, Don moved back to Arizona and worked in the AC business for 15 years. In 2008, two things happened that changed his life he got his beloved dog, Lola, and started working for Simply Amazing Marketplace as a ICS. He’s always there when we need him.

Don remarried in 2013, and he and his wife enjoyed weekend trips to Williams and cheering on football games though they didn’t always root for the same team (she was a Packers fan).

Outside of his work life, Don has a lifelong love for fly fishing and is always happy to swap fishing stories or help you find something great in the store.
